Class Information
Singing with your child is one of the most enriching and rewarding activities that you can do and research has shown that music and singing are an excellent way to develop language and communication skills. Our 30 minute classes will provide your children with a wonderful opportunity to socialise and develop in a creative and stimulating environment.
Infant Class
These multi-sensory classes provide a perfect introduction to music, gentle instrumental play and singing for your young child. From a young age, your baby will be able to recognize and respond to the pattern and rhythm of music and will enjoy being held, rocked, swayed and soothed as you enjoy the class together. We will introduce you to lots of new songs (plus many old favourites) that you will be able to continue to enjoy together at home.
Toddlers
In our toddler classes, you and your child will be encouraged to interact and move around during the class as we explore a wonderful range of tactile and exciting props and get to grips with finger play rhymes, counting songs, knee bouncers and action songs.
Pre - K
Our Pre-K classes are filled with lively rhymes, songs, counting and instrumental play as children make use of every opportunity to express themselves through music and movement. Rhythm work, counting songs instrumental activities are carefully designed to develop confidence and independence to prepare them for kindergarten.
Kindergarten
Our Kindergarten classes provide children with strong fundamental skills for early musicianship. We explore a wide range of skills such as instrumental group work, songwriting, aural perception, music in everyday objects, body percussion, vocal/language development and so much more! Children will engage in fun, themed activities and exercises to explore and enjoy the wonderful world of music.
Multi - Sensory
Learning
Our Multi - Sensory learning session is Scranton's first ever guided play group for children under 2 to play, sing, move, explore and get messy.
Each session will provide a different theme for children to enjoy and explore. The session is 45 minutes long and includes circle time, songs, movement games, free play of equipment, sensory light explorations and a messy play activity.
