WELCOME BACK TO MUSIC SCHOOL!

After a long, beautiful and fun filled summer, Miss Elena has never been as ready to return back to music class! This will officially be our second year of Scranton Musical Mornings and we are going bigger than ever! Here’s a list of weekly themes for our first semester back:

WEEK 6 - HALLOWEEN PARTY!

Each week the children will work towards developing their rhythm, singing, confidence, fine motor, communication, hand to eye coordination, instrumental recognition, instrumental playing, social skills, aural skills and much more.

MUSIC SKILL OF THE SEMESTER

This semester will focus closely on TEMPO. Miss Elena will introduce the word tempo to each class and explain the definition by demonstrating through our music train activity. Each week the children will get to ’board’ the tempo train whilst moving faster and slower to the music.

QUICK REMINDERS

1. Our new location is 228 S Main Ave, Scranton, 18504. There is a parking lot behind the main house. Street parking is also available.

2. This is a fun, playful learning environment. Please do not feel that you have to keep your child sitting in the circle at all times. However, if your child becomes over stimulated or disruptive during class, please use the waiting area as a space to comfort before rejoining.

3. If you or your child aren’t feeling great, please stay home. We understand that everyone gets allergies or sniffly noses during the season change, but any child with a fever, sickness, vomiting should stay home.

4. PLEASE fill out our waiver form before attending class. You will not be allowed to enter class until you have signed our waiver form.

9.00am - 9.30 Infants

9.45 - 10.15 Toddler Class 1

10.30 - 11.00 PRE - K 11.15 - 11.45 - Toddler Class 2
